More often than not, when businessmen are trying to win clients they would ask their prospects for a game of golf or two. Unfortunately, only 4 out of 10 people win business partners when they invite them to play golf. This sport would only show the competitive side of both parties. There is a possibility that your potential client would not find you viable when it comes to their team.
Other than requesting them to come over your home and taste your wife’s specialty, you can also ask your business partners or potential clients to spend time outdoors as well. Camping even for a night would strengthen your relationship with your current business partners especially if you have been working together for a long time. You can get to know them more and their goals for the business as well. When you are in a more casual environment, you can talk to them with your proposals in a relaxed manner rather than being so uptight.
Camping is not only for your employees but also for your associates as well. If they are willing to spend time away from the meeting room as much as you do and have a more laid-back conversation with the rest of the team, then a stronger business relationship and even a new connection will be within your reach.
